February 14, 2022

Will Provide Hard-Dollar Support to Katie Boyd Britt, Jane Timken, Tiffany Smiley, Morgan Ortagus, and Tanya Contreras Wheeless

WASHINGTON, DC – Winning For Women PAC (WFW PAC) today announced its fourth round of endorsements for the 2022 midterms, including its first Senate endorsements this cycle.

Endorsements include:

  • Katie Boyd Britt (AL-Senate)

  • Jane Timken (OH-Senate)

  • Tiffany Smiley (WA-Senate)

  • Morgan Ortagus (TN-05)

  • Tanya Contreras Wheeless (AZ-04)

“The opportunity to flip both the House and the Senate comes down to ensuring Republicans support qualified, exceptional candidates,” said Annie Dickerson, Founder and Chair of WFW PAC. “Winning For Winning PAC is thrilled to back these five women who have run large organizations, served our country, put themselves through college, and raised families. These are the types of diverse backgrounds that represent our country and will resonate with voters. With these candidates on the ballot, Republicans have a shot at winning back the House and Senate, and putting a stop to President Biden’s agenda.”

“I am honored to have the endorsement of Winning For Women. I proudly share and will fight in the U.S. Senate for the organization’s core values of economic freedom and strong national security. It is clear that the next generation of conservative women across our nation are standing up to preserve the American Dream for our children and our children’s children.” – Katie Britt, candidate for U.S. Senate in Alabama

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Winning For Women and join the ranks of bold, qualified, Conservative women taking a stand across the country. Our shared values of economic freedom and strong national security are under attack from the radical Left as inflation soars, a porous Southern Border threatens communities, and our Constitutional liberties are ignored. Together with Winning For Women’s support, I will bring new, commonsense leadership to Washington and put power back into the hands of families across this nation.” – Jane Timken, candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio

“As the wife of a disabled veteran, mother, and small business owner, I bring experiences to the table that inform and shape my positions and opinions, and are a necessary addition to the shaping of public opinion. I am thankful for the endorsement and support of Winning For Women and their mission to bring more strong, Republican women into the halls of Congress where our backgrounds and insightful voices can shape the policies of our country for generations to come!” – Tiffany Smiley, candidate for U.S. Senate in Washington

“I’m grateful for everything Winning For Women does to support conservative women candidates. I’m honored to have them join President Trump on my team, as I seek to fight for Tennessee’s conservative values in Congress. Now, let’s take back the House and retire Nancy Pelosi!” – Morgan Ortagus, candidate for Tennessee’s Fifth Congressional District

“I am honored to have the endorsement of Winning For Women. Like so many other Americans, I watched as they launched a record number of trailblazing women across our country to victory in 2020, and it is truly an honor to be among the group of women that they have chosen to support in 2022. I am thrilled to have them on my team as I fight for the East Valley, and I look forward to working with them to build upon their success in 2020 to make sure even more conservative women are elected to Congress in 2022.” – Tanya Contreras Wheeless, candidate for Arizona’s Fourth Congressional District

WFW PAC will max out to the campaigns of each of these endorsed candidates. It bases its endorsements on a number of metrics, including: significant fundraising numbers proportionate to the candidate’s district; an established campaign team; and a viable path to success through the primary and general elections.

In three previous rounds of endorsements, WFW PAC announced support for five candidates running for seats held by Democrats and nine incumbent freshmen House women, all running in some of the most competitive seats.

Background
