WASHINGTON, DC – Winning For Women PAC (WFW PAC) today announced the endorsement of Regan Deering, running in Illinois’ 13th Congressional District, and Laurel Lee, running in Florida’s 15th Congressional District.
This cycle, WFW PAC has endorsed a strong slate of House candidates, including nine incumbents.
“Across the country, Republican women are poised to make gains in November. I have no doubt that Regan and Laurel would make strong additions to a new GOP majority,” said Annie Dickerson, Founder and Chair of WFW PAC. “Regan has been an educator, small business owner, and local leader. Lee has an impressive resume of government service as a federal prosecutor, Circuit Court Judge, and Florida Secretary of State. Both have deep, lifetime ties to their communities, and Winning For Women PAC is proud to be supporting them.”
“We’re in the final stretch of the 2022 midterm elections and it’s great to receive the endorsement of Winning For Women PAC,” said Regan Deering, Republican candidate for Illinois Congressional District 13. “Winning For Women has a history of supporting conservative women in their quest to serve in federal office. Their support of my first-time candidacy recognizes that I am bringing with me real-world experience and a desire to maintain the constructs of Republican values of limited government, capitalism and a safe and secure America. This endorsement is further proof momentum is on our side as we continue to build our coalition of voters who understand a rubber stamp for Joe Biden is not what we need in our representative.”
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Winning for Women PAC and their support heading toward the Florida general election in November,” said Laurel Lee, Republican candidate for Florida Congressional District 15. “Time and again, I’ve seen Winning For Women PAC send strong conservative women to office, and I’m proud to have them alongside me as I seek to represent the people of Florida Congressional District 15 in Congress.”
WFW PAC will max out to the campaigns of each of these endorsed candidates. It bases its endorsements on a number of metrics, including: significant fundraising numbers proportionate to the candidate’s district; an established campaign team; and a viable path to success through the primary and general elections.
Background
WFW PAC is proud to provide hard-dollar support to help fuel the campaigns of top women candidates. Through its nationwide network, more than 800k WFW members will also provide small-dollar and grassroots support. WFW Action Fund (WFW AF), the first Republican Super PAC dedicated solely to electing women, provides critical, independent, early support that is a key factor in winning elections. WFW AF and related groups have raised $11 million through Q2 this cycle and spent nearly $3 million last cycle.
