Winning For Women Launches Pro-IVF Ad Campaign in Two Critical House Districts

Ads highlight legislative efforts by Reps. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) and Michelle Steel (CA-45) to make IVF more accessible and affordable

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Winning For Women (WFW) announced a nearly half a million dollar investment in a mail, texting, and phone advocacy campaign focused on legislation to ensure in vitro fertilization (IVF) is accessible and affordable for women and their families. This is the first time a right-of-center organization has run a major issue advocacy campaign in support of IVF this cycle.

The campaign will run in two key House districts represented by WFW-endorsed leaders, Reps. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) and Michelle Steel (CA-45), and encourage voters to contact their representatives and thank them for supporting two pieces of bipartisan legislation: H.R. 8821 (The HOPE Act), which would ease the financial burden of IVF, and H.Res. 1037, a resolution to protect IVF treatments.

“As moms, we know the joy and fulfillment that comes from building a family and believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience it,” said Danielle Barrow, Executive Director for Winning For Women. “Our endorsed women recognize the profound impact IVF has on millions of women and their families. Despite the false narrative from the Left, they’re leading the fight to deliver new hope through legislation to make IVF treatments more accessible and affordable.”

Background

The Winning For Women (WFW) entities were proud to provide women candidates with unprecedented resources in the 2022 cycle. Through our SuperPAC – the first dedicated solely to electing Republican women, 501(c)(4) and connected PAC, and other hard dollar efforts, we raised over $17 million to support right-of-center women. WFW conducted targeted issue advocacy campaigns, briefings with partner organizations, DC and in-district press events, and mentorship programs. Our political arm hosted national fundraisers that raised nearly $4 million in hard dollars, and WFW AF spent over $8 million in independent expenditure campaigns to advance women through contested races.

This cycle, WFW PAC has already backed over a dozen House candidates and incumbents running for re-election. WFW AF’s leadership has raised over $1 million in hard dollars for WFW PAC’s endorsed candidates, with plans to raise even more to ensure they have the resources needed to win.

WFW has also run issue advocacy campaigns in several states like California, New York, Oregon, Utah, and Virginia that focus on border security, inflation, and the economy. Just last month, WFW launched a nearly $1 million issue advocacy campaign in three critical districts focused on advancing legislation to reduce costs for American families by cutting through bureaucratic red tape and curbing the excessive regulations imposed by the current Administration.
