Winning For Women Action Fund Poll Shows Jen Kiggans with Decisive Lead

Poll finds Kiggans commands more than 34-point lead in VA-02 GOP primary

WASHINGTON, DC – Winning For Women Action Fund (WFW AF) released a new poll that shows Jen Kiggans, running in VA-02, with a more than 34-point lead in the Republican primary. Winning For Women PAC endorsed Kiggans in October 2021.

“Jen is a standout candidate and that is clearly resonating with voters, ” said Winning For Women Action Fund. “With less than three weeks until the primary, she has a decisive lead. Winning back the House requires running strong, qualified candidates in November. Jen is precisely who we need on the ballot.”

Key Findings: 

  • Kiggans has a wide lead, with 43% of primary voters. Other candidates, Tommy Altman and Jarome Bell, have 8.5% and 7.8% respectively.
  • Kiggans has the highest favorables. 45% of primary voters have a favorable opinion of her, compared to 12% for Altman and 15% for Bell.
  • With more information, Kiggans’ lead widens even further to 68%. When told about her service as a Navy pilot and her focus on stopping reckless spending and securing the border, more primary voters choose Kiggans.
