Ashley Nickloes knows what it takes to keep our country safe. A life-long lover of aviation, Ashley went to work as a flight attendant before deciding she was up for the challenge of becoming a pilot herself.
Not one to sit on the sidelines, Ashley followed in her father’s footsteps and joined the Tennessee Air National Guard and United States Air Force. She is one of 250 women who serve in the 134th Air Refueling Wing, a division dedicated to supporting refueling operations for the U.S. Air Force around the world.
Ashley’s experience has equipped her to bring government and industry together to work on solving some of our country’s biggest challenges.
Perhaps the most urgent challenge? Healthcare. Ashley’s family has been on the front lines as ObamaCare’s legacy has raised the cost and lowered the quality of care. She is eager and ready to help fight for better, more affordable healthcare for all Tennesseans.
Serving community and country is the Nickloes family mission. And Ashley is more than ready for her next assignment: serving the people of Tennessee’s 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ashley has served eight deployments since September 11th. Earlier this year, Ashley helped lead a training mission to improve local, state, and federal agencies’ organization and coordination in the event of an emergency.
After hurricanes destroyed much of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands last year, Ashley served as the Air National Guard liaison for Tennessee Joint Force Headquarters, coordinating the transfer of people, supplies, and equipment to the islands.
