WASHINGTON, DC – Winning For Women Action Fund (WFW AF) congratulated Katie Boyd Britt on advancing to the primary runoff in the Alabama Senate race. WFW PAC endorsed Britt earlier this year.
WFW PAC and its supporters raised over $100K in hard dollars to Britt’s campaign.
“We are excited to see Katie advance to a runoff in the Alabama Senate race. This is an historic opportunity for Alabamans to elect the first female senator from the state,” said Annie Dickerson, Founder and Chair of Winning For Women Action Fund. “Alabamans have smartly advanced a bright, energetic, uniquely talented woman who would serve them well and be a role model to the next generation of conservatives.”
Background
WFW AF is the political arm of Winning For Women. Launched in 2019, it is the first SuperPAC dedicated solely to electing Republican women. WFW AF and related groups raised over $4.6 million in the first quarter of 2022 and spent nearly $3 million last cycle.
