Winning For Women Launches New Digital Ads For Carol Miller 

Ads Highlight WV-03 Candidate’s Work Combating Opioid Crisis

WASHINGTON, DC – Today Winning For Women launched new digital ads for Carol Miller, who is running for office in West Virginia’s 3rd Congressional District. Winning For Women is an organization dedicated to supporting right-of-center women in their pursuit of leadership opportunities.

“Carol Miller has worked for years to combat the effects of the opioid epidemic in her home state of West Virginia,” said Winning For Women Executive Director Rebecca Schuller. “Carol has championed Justice Reinvestment, a strategy focused on rehabilitation and recovery rather than just penalization to reduce recidivism and help those struggling with addiction. We are proud to highlight her record of fighting for her constituents through policies that combat the opioid epidemic that is devastating families in West Virginia and all over the country.”

Winning for Women is spending five figures on a digital spot supporting state Del. Carol Miller, who is running for the GOP nomination in West Virginia’s 3rd District. Current GOP Rep. ABOUT CAROL MILLER: Carol Miller is on the ballot seeking election in West Virginia’s 3rd Congressional District. Carol was first elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates in 2006, and when her party ascended into the majority in 2015, she was named assistant majority leader. As state delegate and the first Republican woman to wrangle the West Virginia House of Delegates as Majority Whip, Carol works every day to bring jobs back home. She even became the first Republican woman to preside over the West Virginia House of Delegates in 2016 when she stepped in for the Speaker of the House. Carol believes the most important part of public service is listening to those she represents: “Particularly, I think the listening is the most important part because you provide services for people when you’re a public servant, and I’m glad when I can help people with their problems.”
