Danielle has been with Winning For Women and WFW Action Fund since day one and brings 15 years of experience in leadership, operations, and politics to her role as Executive Director.
Prior to joining Winning For Women, she served as Director of Operations at the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) from 2015 to 2017 where she managed the nonprofit organization’s internal operations and led FPI’s Future Leaders Program and Leadership Network, a professional development program focused on advancing the next generation of foreign policy leaders. In 2017, Danielle was selected as a Public Interest Fellow where she helped launch a nonprofit organization focused on convening senior national security professionals.
Previously, Danielle spent over five years on Capitol Hill, including serving as Director of Operations and Political Director for Congressman H. Morgan Griffith from 2011 to 2014. She also has experience in state government, serving as a Senior Legislative Assistant and Political Director in the Virginia General Assembly.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Danielle is an alumna of the University of Minnesota and the Omaha Conservatory of Music. She and her husband have three young daughters and spend their time between upstate New York and Washington, DC.
