Danielle brings significant leadership, operations, and political experience from her time working with nonprofits, government officials, and political campaigns. As Winning For Women’s Chief of Staff, Danielle is responsible for managing the organization’s team and efforts, as well as overseeing the activities of Winning For Women’s Board of Directors.
Danielle joined Winning For Women after serving as Director of Operations at the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) from 2015 to 2017, where she managed the nonprofit organization’s internal operations and led FPI’s Future Leaders Program and Leadership Network, a professional development program focused on advancing the next generation of foreign policy leaders. In 2017, Danielle was selected as a Public Interest Fellow where she helped launch a nonprofit organization focused on convening senior national security professionals.
Previously, Danielle spent five years on Capitol Hill, including serving as Director of Operations and Political Director for Congressman H. Morgan Griffith from 2011 to 2014. She also has experience in state government, serving as a Senior Legislative Assistant and Political Director in the Virginia General Assembly.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Danielle is an alumna of the University of Minnesota and the Omaha Conservatory of Music. She lives in Virginia with her husband and two young daughters.
