A seasoned operations manager, Danielle Barrow has a proven track record of navigating complex operational challenges on the way to helping organizations and political leaders achieve their objectives.
As Winning For Women’s Director of Operations, Danielle is responsible for the organization’s critical operations including budget management, legal compliance, human resources and other business operations. Danielle also oversees the activities of Winning For Women’s Advisory Committee and Board of Directors.
Danielle joined Winning For Women after serving as Director of Operations at the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) from 2015 to 2017, where she managed the nonprofit organization’s internal operations and led FPI’s Future Leaders Program and Leadership Network, a professional development program focused on advancing the next generation of foreign policy leaders. In 2017, Danielle was selected as a Public Interest Fellow where she helped advance a nonprofit organization focused on convening senior national security professionals.
Previously, Danielle spent five years on Capitol Hill, including serving as Director of Operations and Political Director for Congressman H. Morgan Griffith from 2011 to 2014. There, she served as a senior advisor in the Congressman's political and official offices and executed a ground strategy that included organizing industry tours, executive round tables, campaign stops and press availabilities. She also has experience in state government, serving as a Senior Legislative Assistant and Political Director in the Virginia General Assembly.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Danielle is an alumna of the University of Minnesota and the Omaha Conservatory of Music.
