Micah Yousefi, an experienced political operative, is passionate about policy that embraces conservative ideals, ensures freedom and liberty for all Americans, and invites women into vital leadership roles.
As Winning For Women’s Political and Policy Director, Micah is responsible for developing a slate of endorsed conservative women candidates and for articulating and advancing the organization’s policy objectives.
Previously, Micah served as Women’s Engagement Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, building a program dedicated to engaging women candidates and voters. In this role, she was responsible for facilitating and managing the Committee’s recruitment and development of female candidates for the House of Representatives and, in this capacity, worked directly with female members of the Republican Conference. Micah also oversaw the development, structure and programming of House Republicans’ women’s engagement efforts. Prior to her time at the NRCC, Micah worked as a Legislative aide in the office of Chairman Bill Shuster and had the unique opportunity to serve on the United Nations’ 53rd Commission on the Status of Women as an NGO Delegate.
Micah managed the run-off campaign of Congresswoman Karen Handel in the GA-06 Special Election, the most expensive race in House history, where she managed a staff of 30 and a budget of approximately $6 million.
Micah, a proud first-generation American, is an alumna of Notre Dame of Maryland University. She was a Fulbright ETA Grantee in South Korea from 2010 to 2011.
