WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Winning For Women (WFW) released a new six-figure digital ad urging passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada-Agreement (USMCA). The ad is directed to six members of Congress who represent House districts where agriculture and manufacturing are disproportionately affected by the delay.

An example of the new ad, which began running today, can be viewed here.

“The Left has held up USMCA for too long – putting millions of American jobs and the economy at risk,” said WFW Executive Director Rebecca Schuller. “Americans are tired of political, partisan games. Our lawmakers need to do what they were elected to do, and pass the USMCA on behalf of America’s workers, farmers, and families.”

The ads urge voters to contact their representatives and will run in the following districts:

  • Collin Peterson (MN-07)
  • Abby Finkenauer (IA-01)
  • Susan Wild (PA-07)
  • Anthony Brindisi (NY-22)
  • Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02)
  • Tom O’Halleran (AZ-01)

Example Script:

Ask the American Farm Bureau how to grow corn.

They’ll tell you sun, rain, fertilizer.

Ask about growing jobs and trade, and they’ll tell you The United States Mexico Canada Agreement.

President Trump’s USMCA means 130,000 Iowa jobs.

$6.3 billion in revenue.

But Democrats like Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer are not getting the job done – putting politics ahead of growth. Ahead of Iowa.

Call Congresswoman Finkenauer and tell her to support the USMCA.
