WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Winning For Women (WFW) released the following statement after EMILY’s List put out an initial list of 2020 targets, including five of the only 13 Republican women in the House and two Republican women in the Senate:

“For a group that claims to empower women, EMILY’s List is already targeting five of the just 13 Republican women in the House. Any candidate backed by EMILY’s List will have to answer to extreme positions being promoted by the Left that the majority of Americans reject. Winning For Women will be supporting qualified conservative women in the primaries and highlighting the issues that women care about, like affordable health care, the economy and national security,” said WFW spokeswoman Olivia Perez-Cubas.

ABOUT WINNING FOR WOMEN: Winning For Women is a 501(c)(4) organization that aims (1) to inform the public of national security and free-market policy that will benefit the lives of all Americans, (2) to organize and amplify the voices of women across the country who embrace such, broadening the audience for a strong conservative message, and (3) to expand the ability of right-of-center women to succeed in their pursuit of leadership opportunities, including elected office.
