WASHINGTON, DC – Winning For Women (WFW) Founder and Chair Annie Dickerson released a statement today following President Biden’s State of the Union Address:
“President Biden’s message stands in stark contrast to reality. Just this week, a new poll found that 41% of Americans say their personal finances are worse today than when he was sworn in. Over the last two years, Americans have struggled to afford, and at times even find, basics ranging from baby formula to eggs to gas. With a record number of conservative women in the new House majority, they’ll serve as an important check on the Left’s failed policies that are burdening families and businesses.
“In response, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders put forward an optimistic vision for all Americans. As the youngest governor in the nation and a mother to young children, I was proud to see her offer clear and needed leadership tonight. We need more of these common sense policies that lift up working families across the country.”
In a new poll from the ABC/WaPo, 41% of Americans reported their personal finances have gotten worse since Biden took office, the highest in the survey for 37 years.
