WASHINGTON, DC – Today Winning For Women, an organization that supports right-of-center women in their pursuit of leadership opportunities, congratulates Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers on her primary win in Washington’s 5th congressional district.
“As the highest-ranking Republican woman in the U.S. House of Representatives, Cathy McMorris Rodgers has proven to be a strong, outspoken leader. While in Congress, Cathy has been a consistent advocate for agriculture, rural healthcare, energy, and veterans,” said Winning For Women Executive Director Rebecca Schuller. “On top of her many accomplishments, Cathy has also shown leadership in being able to balance work and family responsibilities by giving birth to three children, one with special needs, while simultaneously serving in Congress.
